Co-Dermie Bridal Shower

August 3, 2010

As a member of a residency that’s largely comprised of of women, it’s inevitable that someone’s eventually going to get married…AND invite me to come and take pictures…AND maybe make me participate (….a little bit)

Sweets, cupcakes, cookies…everything you need to satisfy that sweet tooth

Cupcakes anyone?

How about the “butteriest” (yes, that’s NOT  word) cookies ever?

Vi’s Baby Shower

July 25, 2010

Deserted? Maybe.  Abandoned? Unlikely.  Overdue?  Definitely.  Yes…after 3 months, there’s an update.  It’s been hectic…moving to Irvine, finishing up my year at Kaiser in LA, getting my apartment together, starting residency…it’s all been one big blur.  There are so many pictures that were placed on the back burner, and though technically I should update blog posts in chronological order, I figured it’d be easier to do it in reverse…starting with Vi’s baby shower.  The Liang’s went all out and threw a mini-carnival in their backyard to celebrate the pending birth of baby Olivia!  Here’s to a healthy, and beautiful baby girl.

Happy Belated Easter

April 7, 2010

Happy Easter Everyone…wasn’t there to celebrate with my family, but I hope everyone had a great day

Some family Easter Pics here

I’m beginning to think that LA has more to offer than clubs, taco trucks, and bars.  There’s a lot of beauty in the city…you just have to look for it and take the time to appreciate it.  If you’ve seen the movie, 500 days of summer, you know that there are so many amazing places in LA to visit; lots of hidden gems that are just waiting to be discovered.

Back to school?

March 24, 2010

Being on elective this past month has been nothing short of great.  I’ve been working less, have more time to do some traveling, and have been spending the time catching up on some reading and watching re-runs of How I Met Your Mother (if you don’t watch it…you should definitely start).  This particular weekend was great…I saw people that I haven’t seen pretty much all year since starting internship, ate at some of my favorite restaurants, and took in “The City” one last time before maybe returning for med school graduation in the summer.  It felt as if I never had left!  Thanks to Ann and Buu for taking in a homeless straggler, and Erica and Tristan for putting up with my mess.
