A tribute to the best restaurants
June 2, 2009No…this isn’t about the food, ambiance, service, or even quality of the ingredients. This post is about the BEST-worst restaurant names, inspired by a trip to Young Dong this week. Don’t get me wrong, the food at Young Dong is decent…they bring out tons of sides, make piping hot tofu, and have great meat…but hold on a second…your restaurant is named “Young Dong”? Young Dong?!?!? Why?!?
It made me think about all the other ridiculously named restaurants…the best of the worst (maybe even the best of the best)
1. Pho Shizzle (Yes ladies and gentleman, Pho shizzle does exist in Cambridge, ON):
2. Pho King (Yes, this IS a family blog…but they displayed their name in front of their restaurant, so why can’t I post it here?):
Their catch phrase? You guessed it! “It’s Pho King Delicious”

7. Hung Far Low

never been to ding dong dang canaan, but yea…from what i read it’s supposed to be a karaoke place. @allie te, good one. can’t believe i forgot it
